PUBLISHING The Poland for Jesus prayer movement began a publishing house in November 2001. The goal is to make available quality Christian literature. We particularly are interested in books that will inspire believers to a deeper spiritual life and encourage a robust prayer life, but we are not limited to that. A secondary goal of the publishing house is to use income from this ministry to finance other aspects of the prayer and revival movement. To-date we have published over 45 books, six of these in 2007. Usually, we help select the works to be translated and then coordinate the translation, correction and editing, computer formatting and printing of the books. Rick supervises the Poland For Jesus office that handles all marketing and sales for the books.

DISCIPLESHIP CAMPS In the summers we invite around 25-30 young Christians, ages 17 to 25, to an intensive six-week camp at a Christian retreat center in Lwówek Śląski,a little town in SW Poland. Lwówek is about a half-hour’s drive from where we used to live, Lubań. In the past six summers we have trained 170 Polish youth at these camps The youth come from a dozen or more denominations, including Catholic Charismatic, independent charismatic, Pentecostal, Baptist, Church of God in Christ, Lutheran and others. Youth are chosen by their pastors as having leadership potential and must already show proven Christian character and an earnest desire to grow spiritually. The six-week camp is filled with structured activities from morning to night with little free time. We focus on a disciplined lifestyle, deepening our devotional lives, intensive teaching to deepen their spiritual lives and regular, focused ministry. |

POLAND FOR JESUS Poland for Jesus is the name of a national organization that promotes prayer and revival. Rick was one of the founders of this movement and continues to serve on the leadership team. The goal of this movement is to ignite a passion in Poles’ hearts for God and to help prepare the church to gather in a harvest of souls. To this end, we organize national and regional conferences to encourage and equip intercessors and to mobilize for evangelism. We hold consultations on special issues that we feel are strategic to the nation, such as the house church movement and Poland-Israel relations. The leadership team is made up of five Polish pastors together with Rick. Click here to read about our 2007 national conference! The 24-hour prayer watch, the discipleship schools and the publishing are all done under the umbrella ministry of Poland For Jesus. We network with other European prayer leaders and represent Poland from time to time in international prayer gatherings. The movement’s office is in Gorzów and Rick helps coordinate much of the office work and communication. |

prayer chain. Each church adopts a day a month (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) and they are responsible for covering the nation with prayer during those 24 hours. Our central office in Gorzów sends out a monthly prayer bulletin that helps guide the prayer. Each church involved in Poland 24 has a designated prayer coordinator. We are actively working to expand and strengthen this prayer network. We host national and regional conferences and training sessions to inspire and equip intercessors throughout the nation. |
