Sales for Christian books in Poland are quite modest. Most publishers feel a book is a success if they sell 1000 copies, so first-runs are almost always 1000 copies or slightly less.

There is no well-established distribution system for Christian literature in the country and many of the wholesalers are not financially sound, so our strategy has been to sell direct to customers through the Internet and at our conferences. We do sell to wholesalers, but it is not a major thrust and we offer them a smaller discount than most book producers. To-date this strategy has worked well and in a short time we have become established as one of the largest evabgelical publishers in the country. We currently release about 6-8 titles a year. Our coworker, Corey Booher, is the representative for Derek Prince Ministries in Poland and he publishes DPM books under our publishing house as well.
